Process Control:The process control is surely the most important part of a plant and for the customer. It determines the output and thus productivity of the plant. Apart from the process control the productivity of a plant also depends on the available hardware (number of tanks and transporters). And our task and aim is to obtain maximum productivity and flexibility from these two environments. These two factors – productivity and flexibility – also determine the sequential control chosen for a plant. We offer our customers two basic options: Customer-specific control system ![]() A customer-specific control system restricts the flexbility of production. Only specified process sequences with some variable times can be realised. These are determined in cooperation with the customer according to his requirements and optimized. For example, if a customer has only a few different product lines, this kind of control system is suitable. The greatest and most significant advantage of this control system lies in the productivity. The sequences are determined and optimised in advance to achieve maximum output. Another advantage is the fixed cycle time which simplifies planning in a production chain and allows a company to occupy the operating personnel steadily. Freely programmable control system: ![]() For customers having a wide range of products they would like to produce in mixed order, a freely programmable control system would be suitable. It allows the customer to program the sequences (order and treatment times) himself. The control system subsequently calculates the production of the batches according to the given requirements. Programming is absolutely free and can be carried out easily by the customer and changed at any time. This kind of sequential control is currently developed in cooperation with a university of technology. With this new system we aim at even higher flexibility and productivity and a maximum utilisation of the extisting resources (tanks, transporters). Combined option:
This new development represents a very interesting option for our customers:In order to achieve maximum productivity, the customer-specific sequence can be chosen if required (standard products), while the freely programmable control system is available for special requirements. The combination of both types of control system unites the demands for productivity and flexibility |
