The transition from external PLC systems (B&R) to a soft-PLC from Beckhoff (TWINCAT System with Profibus Master) is implemented.

Distance measuring for the transporting equipment is changed from incremental measuring to absolute measuring by means of laser measurement systems. For this transition the control system of the transporters is already decentralised. => The transporters are equipped with intelligent mini PLC systems. This permits the movement of the transporters without related PC control, which results in a great advantage for installation as well as for the customer.
